Acrylic texture

Materials needed: 

• Pó Xadrez in the desired color;
• White rustic acrylic texture;
• Toothless steel evener;
• Medium-size spatula.

Step 1: Add Pó Xadrez to the acrylic texture in a ratio of 250 g per a 3.6-liter can. The different colors of Pó Xadrez can be mixed for creating the desired color. (Picture 1)

Step 2: Mix Pó Xadrez with the whole mass until the color is even. For obtaining the color shown on the picture, ensure that black Pó Xadrez is well mixed with the mass; otherwise, pigments may appear on the wall. (Picture 2)

Step 3: apply it on the wall using a spatula and finish the texture using a toothless iron evener with top-to-bottom movements to create the desired effect. (Picture 3)

Tip: To improve the finishing and protecting your work, apply water-based acrylic varnish. (Picture 4)

Yielding: about 2 m 2 for each 3,6 liter gallon.

Yielding will depend on the conditions of the wall surface.
