Color Perception
The perception of the chromatic space
Everyone has someday played with the optical illusions caused by shapes and colors. Such illusions also occur, although in a more subtle way, on internal environments, making distances relative and flexible according to the color selection and positioning.

Here are some tips for the application of colors on the environments:
- For roofs, it is better to use light shades, for they provide a god reflection of light.
- In environments with a long distance between the floor and the ceiling, the roofs may be painted in dark colors to look lower and cozier.
- Dark environments look heavier
- Light environments provide a greater feeling of lightness.
- Warm colors expand themselves, so they are more suitable for details.
- Saturated colors make the environment seem smaller, so they are not recommended for small spaces. They are more suitable for highlighting an object in a more neutral environment.
- Many shades of the same color applied on an environment will work simultaneously.
