COLORED MORTAR
Colored wall with mortar and Xadrez®.
If you need quicker results in the final phase of your reform or construction, this is the ideal solution. Coloring the mortar when preparing the mixture is a way of building walls already colored, speeding up your work, eliminating expenses with painting, as well as reducing the need for maintenance.
For performing the colored coating, also known as plaster, follow the steps below:
1- Prepare a uniform mixture according to the instructions provided by the chosen mortar brand and by the chosen Xadrez® pigment.
2- Use a masonry trowel to apply the mixture prepared.
3- Level it and complete the rustic finishing with an evener.
4- Your wall is ready and colored!
Remember that the colors resulting from the mixture of Xadrez® with mortar are influenced by the color of the cement and sand. When using gray cement and dark sand, the final result will be darker than when you use white cement and white sand.
Attention! On face brick walls, you can obtain more harmonic or contrasting results, depending on the color of the pigment to be used in the mortar. what really matters is your taste and your creativity!
